Which Affiliate Programs Make the Most Money?

The best affiliate programs have all or some of the following features:

• lifetime cookies: a never expiring record the visitor/customer originally came from your site

• lifetime referral: every purchase the visitor you referred ever makes will earn you a commission

• payout of around $30 or over per sale

• a 2-tier program: if one of your referred visitors becomes an affiliate like you, you will earn a commission every time they do

But even with all these features an affiliate program is not guaranteed to be successful. An affiliate program should also be:

• professionally marketed. Check out the site and read the sales copy. Does it look professional? Does it get you interested. Does it compel you to buy? If the answer isn't yes then the visitors you refer probably won't be interested either

• suited to the Internet. Is it the kind of product that will sell well on the Internet? Most people aren't yet comfortable enough to buy big ticket, expensive items over the Internet. People are also less likely to buy something online they could get from their local Wal-Mart

• a good match to your web site. If your site attracts visitors interested in flower arranging, an affiliate program selling monster truck videos probably won't do well.

1. Internet Marketing
   Ken Evoy's products (look for the affiliate link on the page this link takes you). He has built an Internet empire by offering extreme quality and value.
   
   AffiliatePowerAds is a brilliant twist on GoogleAdsense. This program combines some of the hottest Internet marketing affiliate products into one ad program but instead of just getting a few cents per click, each ad is implanted with your affiliate code. 2. Web Hosts - (the payout rates below are subject to change so you will need to check them before you sign up - they are most likey higher).
   Not surprisingly, the best web host companies also have the best affiliate programs. (All these have increased since I wrote this).

   Lunarpages - $65 per sign up
   iPowerWeb - $65 per sign up
   Globat - $65 per sign up
   Easy CGI - $50 per sign up

   Some other hosting companies are great to promote because they have a big payout and 2 tiers:

   HostExpress.com - $17.90 per sign up of basic plan and 25% on second tier
   FineWebHost.com - $23.85 per sign up of basic plan and 10% on second tier
    

3. Casinos and Gambling
   Some affiliates are making $300,000+ a year promoting nothing but online casinos. That's $25,000 a month! Even just 10% of that isn't too shabby.
   
   Vegas Affiliates - up to 35% commission and 3 tiers
   Cash Clicks 2 - up to 50% and unlimited levels. $50 sign up bonus
   House Winnings - up to 40% and 10% on the second tier
   Palace of Chance - up to 35% and varying % on second tier
