Drop
Shipping
Drop shipping involves selling
consumable (not downloadable) products from your web site that someone
else delivers for you. A visitor comes to your site, sees a product
they like and decides to buy it. You process the order, which may
involve accepting credit cards, checks etc and then you pass on
the order to the drop shipper. The drop shipper then sends the product
out to the customer from their warehouse and sends you a bill.
The beauty of drop shipping is
you can sell real products without needing a warehouse to store
them and the profit margin is greater than usually offered by affiliate
programs.
Chris Malta's Drop
Shipping Directory is the only resource worth having if
you are interested in drop shipping. They will teach you every thing
you need to know and they have a giant directory of drop shippers
(with over 500,000 products) you can search by brand or product.
Of course you will need to have
a website to sell your products from but if you use Yahoo, the biggest
Internet shopping center in the world, you will be able to build
an online store there using their easy to follow instructions. No
web host, software or anything else needed, its all provided.
Chris Malta explains it much
better in his FFree Drop Shipping Directory ebook, which you can download from
his site.
This is one of the few methods
of online money making that I haven't tried yet, although I did
research it very thoroughly, including reading Chris' ebook. But
there are plenty of opportunities and plenty of people making a
lot of money.
| TIP 1: Be careful
of drop shippers that want to charge you an account set
up fee. From my research I got the impression that some
of them depend on account fees as part of their revenue.
TIP 2: There is not much point in
drop shipping something if it is readily available at
your local Wal-Mart. Unique and harder to get products
work best. |
