When you choose an MLM company
(also known as network marketing and multi-tier marketing), its
very important you choose a company that is going to last. A problem
with these type of companies in the past was they tended not be
around for the long run. They may last a few years but by then the
founders have made so much cash that they pack up to live a life
of luxury, which leaves everyone else high and dry or the company
goes bust and the end result is the same. Fortunately the rockiest
days are over.
If you are not familiar with
MLM then this is basically how it works:

You join a company but rather
than being an employ you are an IBO (independent business owner/operator).
In most cases you qualify as a member by buying and consuming,
or selling a certain volume of the company's product every month.

You grow your
business by introducing other like minded individuals to the
company, they will also consume or sell volume every month but
this time you will earn a few dollars.

As the people you introduce
to the business start to also introduce people your team grows
and grows and that's when things really start to take off because
each new member means an increase in your income.

Your team and income will
grow geometrically (increasing by an increasing amount every
month) and the income is residual, that is, you earn each and
every month.
MLM has come along way since
its infancy and is now getting recognition as a very viable, mainstream
business structure. There are currently over 20 MLM companies listed
on the New York stock exchange and they consistently out perform
the rest of the market in bull or bear markets. Multi-national heavy
weights like IBM and Canon now have MLM divisions to distribute
products.
The explosion in MLM success
is due mainly to 2 factors.

The industry has matured
and can now offer experienced, sensible and secure infrastructure,
support and training in addition to world class products.

The Internet has made it
possible for individuals to reach out and contact thousands
of people at a time instead of the old style of only contacting
those people in your circle of influence. The ongoing communication
(follow-up) can also be automated.
Of all the types of home businesses
there are to choose from, MLM by far and away offers the greatest
potential for serious wealth within a not so long time frame and
starting on a small budget.
If you are considering network
marketing look for the following features:

more track record

experienced leadership

good products you can be
proud of because you can't sell them with integrity if you don't
believe in them
